I just had to share Tamara and Jack’s gorgeous carbon neutral wedding, captured in time by one of our favorite green photographers, Alina Prax.

This couple made having a carbon neutral wedding their top priority, and it reflected in the unique choices they made for their big day.

Their venue, The Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas is committed to increasing the sustainable use and conservation of native wildflowers, plants and landscapes – so naturally Tamara and Jack used native plants for their centerpieces and re-planted them after the green wedding.

Their guest favors included mini potted succulents to take home.

The catering and cake were all organic or local, and all of their wedding events were carbon offset through Carbonfund.org.

The bride loved Alina’s positive and conscious energy, and valued being able to work with a carbon neutral business like La Dolce Vita Photography. They felt lucky to have found such a creative and intuitive person to capture their spectacular day.
Congratulations Tamara and Jack!

This wedding is so inspiring! Even if other brides can’t make their wedding entirely carbon neutral, this wedding is great inspiration for getting there! I love the idea of gifting your guests with a tree to plant. Everyone wins!
