He’s 100 years old, she’s 93. But when Forrest Lunsway and Rose Pollard got married on March 19th, they felt like a couple of kids.
“We’ve got many happy years left as I intend to stick around until I’m at least 110. You’ve got to use it or lose it,” said Forrest.
The happy couple met all the way back in 1983 at a senior’s dance (that’s right — they’ve been together and have been “seniors” for almost 30 years!) Officials from the Guinness Book of World Records are verifying that Forrest and Rose really are the oldest couple ever to marry.
They were married on Forrest’s 100th birthday, at Rose’s request. We wish this beautiful couple many more years of love and happiness! Now go watch the adorable video of their wedding ceremony.
EJ and Alex wanted their wedding to reflect their eco-conscious ideals, so they incorporated lots of sweet handmade and recycled details into the ceremony and reception. The couple collected and hand painted rocks for their seating charts and table numbers, which were displayed alongside small bunches of fresh lavender and wildflowers.
Family and friends gathered at the Headlands Center for the Arts in San Francisco for the celebration. The Center’s original cluster of nine historic, 1907-era military buildings featured beautiful vaulted ceilings, large windows and maple floors. They also grow and harvest their own organic food for catering such events like EJ & Alex’s wedding!
This simple and elegant green wedding was sent to us from Janet Moscarello + Lisa Lefringhouse of JL Photografia. Enjoy the beautiful photos!

Watson, 60, said of his bride, “Elaine looked astonishing. People see the piercings, but I see the amazing personality underneath. We have known each other for a long time.”

We absolutely love seeing photos from wedding photographer Jose Villa because they always capture the essence of the couple so well. And of course they are gorgeous photos! This wedding shot in Nashville, Tennessee is a perfect example of the bride and groom’s personality shining through the lens. And the way the couple integrated the simplest things in their wedding to celebrate their personalities, such as the yellow tandem bike and the sweet sheets hanging in the background is utterly charming.
There are no words for the brilliance of this video. It is simply one of the most clever, hysterically funny, and oddly touching wedding toasts ever, including a song called “I Want to Make Love to Your Love”, a room full of shocked and delighted guests, and even a gift of breast milk in a bag (yes, you read that right).
My favorite part is the reactions of the family elders. Check out the confused older gentleman in the kippah. Pure awesomeness.
When Los Angeles photographer Amanda Rynda took engagement photos of couple Juliana Park and Ben Lee, a few things were different from the typical engagement shoot. Instead of the typical scene for two, this shoot included Juliana, Ben…and a flesh-eating zombie.
We fell instantly in love with Molly and Andrew and the creative photos that captured their love for each other in a unique and eco-friendly way! They both are teachers studying to earn their credentials at Humboldt State University, located in Arcata, California. But, it’s not always hard work and no play for these two!
Their day of fun on the campus of Humboldt State was inspired by the majestic feel of the redwoods and the lush fauna of the greenhouse. Check out the cute photos sent over from Kate Noelle Photography.
We love the fun they had with the whiteboard!
They added their own personalities to the photos, keeping them fun and memorable.
