What a find this is! This was found via Europe. This was found in a jeweler's safe after a lifetime of culling the most special pieces! The 4.50ct cushion cut was fitted into a mounting made in the 1950's that was recreated in the fashion of the 1920's. The cushion cut diamond is approximately "L" color and SI-1 clarity. It has a tiny bit of warmth to it but faces up great, looks great in sun and shade. I have included both so you can see it in different light. This man painstakingly recreated the mounting he so loved and put in the cushion cut diamond. It was found in jeweler's estate. The mounting has buff-cut natural sapphires~this cut is very rare to see. The diamonds in the mounting are Old European cuts in keeping with the exact mounting from the 1920's, weighing approximately 1.00ct total weight. The sapphires are natural whereas in the original they most likely would have been synthetics. Ring size is 6 3/4, can be sized. THIS RING IS SPECTACULAR!
